In the quaint town of Covington, Louisiana, located just across Lake Pontchatrain from New Orleans, the Southern Hotel’s vaunted history of hospitality began in 1907. The Garden House is a spectacular renovation of the 1937 Covington Post Office. Located adjacent to the Southern Hotel, The Garden House is situated where the hotel’s tennis courts and rose gardens were originally located in the early 20th century.
